SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
The Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, on Wednesday, in a meeting of the Executive Office in the capital, Aden, discussed the general situation in the city of Aden, and integration mechanisms at the central and local levels to reach a comprehensive vision that ensures the city regains its status and improves citizens’ daily living.
bin Mubarak said at the meeting, during his visit to the local authority office, that the government, with all its leaders and agencies, places achieving stability and improving services in the city of Aden at the top of its priorities, and strengthening its pioneering role as the capital, and the center of economic and political gravity, because of the inspiring model that Aden represents.
He appreciated the efforts to develop the city and provide services, noting the need for Aden to double its efforts, following the devastation it experienced due to the war of the terrorist Houthi militia supported by Iran, and to address the problems of its citizens, to the satisfaction of citizens in the government and the local authority.
The Prime Minister stressed that all efforts are below the level of what Aden and its people deserve, and we must make a great effort, with responsibility and honesty towards the city, and our responsibility is to improve the conditions of Aden and improve its services, and present it as a model worthy of it, its status and its role.
He explained, “Aden is our national address, and our success there is a measure of everything we do in our fateful and existential battle against the Houthi militia and its Iranian-backed project.”
bin Mubarak expressed the strong will to restore the reputation of the city of Aden, which is only worthy of being, as we know it, a model of civilization and coexistence, pointing to its pivotal role throughout history and the pivotal role it played in the national struggle and the bearer of the project of civilization and coexistence.
He pointed to the brutal war and deliberate destruction it was subjected to by the terrorist Houthi militia, before returning its sons with their blood and sacrifices along with the brothers in the Arab coalition, adding that “the sacrifices of these heroes, martyrs and wounded, will never be lost from us, nor should we neglect our battle with the project.” Priestly lineage and it still continues.
Prime Minister bin Mubarak pointed out that the government’s approach is to enhance transparency, accountability, and combating corruption as a main focus, stressing that the reform process is ongoing and will not be reversed, and all negligent parties will be held accountable.
He said that corruption is not limited to plundering public money, but rather includes negligence in performing duties, as it is one of the forms of corruption that must be fought and held accountable.
