Senior sources said that Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik hinted to go to the Southern Transitional Council (STC) to deal with the events that the leadership of the Islah party in Shabwa fails with, top of which is facing the Houthi militias and push it away from the governorate.

On Monday, Abdul-Malik made a quick visit to Shabwa before arriving on Tuesday in Aden from Hadramout.

Head of the government of power-sharing between the north and the south held a meeting with the leadership of Shabwa governorate, military and security, stressing the necessity of liberating the districts that were overthrown by Al-Houthi without a recent confrontation.
