The Prime Minister Reviews Work Progress at Aden Security and Stresses Priority of Security

During his visit to the General Directorate of Security in the capital, Aden, on Thursday, the Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak reviewed the progress of security operations and the readiness of its units. This followed the rehabilitation of the administrative building and the modernization of its security and technical equipment.
During the visit, the Prime Minister emphasized that security is a top priority for the government, no less important than services and economic recovery. He emphasized that the stability of the interim capital, Aden, represents the cornerstone of national development.
Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak inspected the readiness of security departments and units, most notably the Joint Operations Command Unit, which has proven highly effective in addressing security challenges and has contributed to achieving tangible results in combating crime, with reports indicating a significant decrease in crime rates.
The visit included a review of future security plans to enhance security in Aden, including the introduction of modern and advanced technologies to improve security performance, combat crime, and enhance preventive security.
The Prime Minister chaired an expanded meeting attended by the Director-General of Aden Security, Major General Mutahhar Al-Shuaibi, and a number of security and military leaders. The meeting was dedicated to reviewing efforts to enhance security, combat crime, and protect community peace, while emphasizing the need to complete the restoration of state institutions and ensure the continuity of their efficient services.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Aden represents a model of stability and tranquility, expressing his confidence in national competencies and the importance of supporting the security services to continue their efforts to confront future challenges and ensure the security and stability of the interim capital.
