The Public Meeting of Shabwa Citizens Issues a Statement About the Creation of Bihan Military Axis and Joining it to Mareb

1. Bihan governorates are the heart of Shabwa and Shabwa can never give up a single centimeter of it and is ready for defending against any division of southern soil.
2. The meeting demanded that President Abd Rabu Mansour Hady should abolish these unfair decisions because it threatens the socio-demographic texture and create internal conflicts.
3. The meeting demanded that President Abd Rabu Mansour Hady should issue a decision defining Shabwa as a separate military zone
4. The meeting elected a commission to communicate with all concerned bodies in the governorate and the presidency to fulfill the outcomes of the meeting.
5. The meeting praised the involvement of Shabwa citizens who are defending the unity of Shabwa
6. The meeting asserts that Shabwa is ready for any escalations if these demands are not to be initiated
It is noteworthy that hundreds of Shabwa citizens and tribal leaders demonstrated against Hady’s decision for joining Bihan to Mareb on Saturday March 17th, 2018. The demonstrators expressed their refusal of the decision of joining Bihan, a directorate rich with oil, to Mareb.
