The Relief and Humanitarian Works Authority of STC Holds its Regular Meeting for May

The Relief and Humanitarian Works Authority assisting the Southern Transitional Council Presidency, held its first regular meeting for May on Wednesday, in the capital, Aden. The meeting was chaired by Attorney Niran Souqi, the Authority’s President.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Authority commemorated the eighth anniversary of the historic Aden Declaration and the anniversary of the founding of the Southern Transitional Council, renewing its pledge to continue the struggle under the leadership of President Aidarous Qasim al-Zubaidi until all the goals of the southern cause are achieved, most notably the restoration of a fully sovereign southern state.

The meeting reviewed developments in the humanitarian situation in the southern governorates amid the worsening economic and service crises. It also heard briefings on the activities of the departments and committees comprising them.

The Authority discussed a number of issues and topics on its agenda and made the necessary decisions and recommendations regarding them.
