The security committee in Aden stresses on taking security measures at the capital’s outlets

The governor of Aden the capital, and head of the security committee, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, chaired on Thursday, the periodic meeting of the security committee in the capital.
The meeting reviewed a report on the security situation, the readiness of the security and military units, and the level of implementation of previous decisions and assignments, in addition to a review of the status of fighting fronts, presented by the Commander of the Fourth Military Region.
The meeting discussed the problems facing the security campaigns that are being implemented according to the security plan in the capital, in which a set of proposals and suggested solutions about the campaigns were presented.
Lamlas touched on a number of developments in the security arena, foremost of which is the level of security vigilance at the ports, and in this regard, the committee stressed on the need to tighten procedures at the capital’s land, sea, and air ports.
The meeting of the Security Committee praised the vigilance of the capital’s security men and their patriotic handling of many issues, most notably sabotage operations, and attempts to smuggle drugs.
The committee also appreciated the citizens’ cooperation with the security services, noting that this contributed to the restoration of the security situation and the spread of peace and tranquility among the community.
