The Security of Aden the capital intensifies intelligence work to monitor any Houthi elements

The Security Committee in the capital, Aden, headed by Governor Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, reviewed, in a meeting on Thursday, at the capital’s office, developments in the security and military situation in the city and neighboring governorates.
The Committee discussed the challenges facing the work of the security services, and the necessary measures to confront the challenges in order to enhance security and stability and preserve public tranquility for citizens.
The meeting touched on the phenomenon of the spread of drug use and promotion of various types in society, and mechanisms to confront the dangerous scourge by supporting the efforts of the Anti-Narcotics Department.
It addressed the problem of the continued flow of illegal immigrants from the Horn of Africa and their random accumulation in a number of directorates, the security risks resulting from the crisis, and coordination with the relevant international organizations to play their role.
The committee discussed the attempts of the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias to push their elements to infiltrate the capital, Aden, to form hotbeds and sleeper cells to target security and stability, as it decided to intensify intelligence work to arrest any elements targeting security and stability in the city.
The meeting witnessed discussions of a report on the results of the security campaign of the traffic police to complete the numbering of unknown cars, prevent military crews and gunmen from entering the airport square, and prevent the collection of illegal taxes.
