The “Skills of 21st Century Journalists” program concludes courses for its second batch

The second batch of young journalists concluded the “Skills of 21st Century Journalists” program, funded by the US Mission in Yemen, which aims to support and develop Yemeni journalists, whether graduates or final-year university students, which was implemented by AMIDEAST.
The ceremony witnessed a virtual presence via the “Zoom” application by the Public Relations Officer at the US Mission in Yemen, Ms. Jennifer, in addition to Ms. Rahaf, Assistant for Cultural Affairs. Ms. Sahar from AMIDEAST Aden Administration and Ms. Jihan, Director of AMIDEAST Office in Aden also participated in the closing ceremony.
The second batch had concluded the advanced electronic marketing course on social media sites for the program with the consulting trainer, Engineer Ashraf Khanbari, who provided the participants with details of electronic marketing and strategies for implementing electronic media and marketing campaigns, in addition to marketing tools on social media sites and the mechanism for implementing them, as well as the types of content and their production, as well as creating electronic websites and blogs and how to market them.
The “Skills of 21st Century Journalists” program is an important step towards enhancing the media skills of journalists and preparing them to deal with the requirements of media work in the 21st century.
