The southern forces thwart an attack with explosive device in Mudiyah of Abyan

The security belt forces in Duthaina sector of Mudiyah district in Abyan governorate, on Friday afternoon, succeeded in thwarting a cowardly terrorist operation, in an attempt to target the southern armed forces.
A field source revealed that the security belt engineering teams dismantled an explosive device planted on the side of the main line, in the Umkhadira area.
It confirmed planting the explosive device in a terrorist plot to target the vehicles of the Southern Armed Forces as they crossed the main line.
It explained that there is an intelligence effort and coordination between the agencies that contributed to the success of the security operation and the prevention of a terrorist operation by targeting the personnel of the southern armed forces.
