SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
The Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate issued a statement on the occasion of World Radio Day, February 13, hereunder is the statement:

“On the occasion of World Radio Day, February 13, the Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate salutes the male and female workers at Radio in Aden, the leader in the region and the Arab world. The Syndicate also salutes on this occasion the members of the southern radio and television sector, Radio “Hona Aden” FM, and all other radio stations operating in Aden and the southern governorates who celebrate their day.

The absence of the prestigious Aden Radio for more than nine years, and the absence of tributes to this large segment of the media sector over the past years.
While the Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate salutes the male and female broadcasters and all the male and female workers behind the radio, it encourages their hands to continue performing a media message bearing national and historical responsibility in this exceptional situation, strengthening the struggle of the people of the South to regain their rights and build their federal state.

The Syndicate also calls on this occasion to stop the emigration of Aden Radio and Television abroad and return to their main headquarters and resume their activities from the capital, Aden, and to recall the cadres and workers in the two ancient edifices and to strive to arrange their job and living conditions and open the field of enrollment for qualified young elements wishing to work in the two sectors, and we find it appropriate to emphasize the organization of training courses through joint efforts for radio and television employees who have been away from practicing their activities for a long time and developing their skills through coordination with training and rehabilitation centers.

On this occasion, the Syndicate welcomes the new addition to the southern media in the capital, Aden, represented by Radio Aden Al-Ghad FM, to join its counterparts in the media arena.
