The Southern Transitional Council and Free South Arab League Hold a Consultative Meeting

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]G[/su_dropcap]eneral Ahmed Said Ben Brik, chairman of the southern national assembly, met representatives of Free South Arab League party at the assembly’s headquarters in Aden on Thursday December 27th, 2018. Dr. Anis Lockman, vice chairman of the assembly and other members of the southern consultation commission attended the meeting.
General Ben Brik indicated the importance of unifying southern efforts and visions and line up all southern political components at the current moment. he also indicated that the south is for all and all southern components and parties have the same goal, which is the southern cause and restoring the state. the meeting issued the following press release:

A Press Release Issued by the Joint Consultative Meeting of the Southern Transitional Council and Free South Arab League Party
The Southern Transitional Council and Free South Arab League Party held a consultative meeting headed by General Ahmed Said Ben Brik, chairman of the southern national assembly, at the assembly’s headquarters in Aden on Thursday December 27th, 2018. The meeting discussed recent political developments and UN Envoy movements among conflicting parties of the so-called Yemeni Crisis in addition to UN Security Council Decisions concerning the southern cause.
After prolonged discussions the meeting asserted the similar vision and the importance of unifying the southern political discourse to create coherence, expand participation and bridge any gaps. Attendants asserted the importance of women participation and their needs in addition to youth who should be raised on loving their country and appreciating their national identity in addition to activating media role that didn’t reach the desired level till now.
Attendants also asserted the importance of unifying southern efforts concerning participation in UN-led political process with a unified political vision to fulfill the expectations of the southern people who chose the free independent southern state on the borders of May 21st, 1990.
