The Southern Transitional Council begins distributing 46,500 food baskets to the most needy families

The Relief and Humanitarian Aid Authority for the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Tuesday, began distributing food baskets to the neediest families in the southern governorates, under the directives of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Transitional Council, and with support from the United Arab Emirates.
Niran Souki, head of the authority, said that the project comes in implementation of the directives of President Al-Zubaidi, to help poor and needy families to face difficult life circumstances, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
Souki revealed that it aims to distribute 46,500 food baskets to needy families in all southern governorates, as part of the efforts of the Relief and Humanitarian Aid Authority.
Trucks loaded with relief materials moved to all governorates of the south, so that the local leadership of the Council worked to distribute them to eligible families throughout the districts.
The Authority distributed 23,500 food baskets to the families of the martyrs throughout the southern governorates, at the initiative of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, over the past days.
