The Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Celebrates 62nd Anniversary of Glorious October 14 Revolution

The Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council’s Local Leadership in Abyan Governorate organized a speech and artistic celebration on Wednesday to mark the 62nd anniversary of the Glorious October 14 Revolution. The celebration was attended by the Presidential Guidance and Oversight Team and a number of local leaders and social figures in the governorate.
Sameer Mohammed Al-Haid, Head of the Executive Body of the Transitional Council in Abyan, conveyed the congratulations of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi to the people of the governorate and the entire south on this precious national occasion, emphasizing that the October 14 Revolution represents a symbol of freedom and struggle and a source of inspiration for successive generations.
The head of the authority addressed the security and livelihood challenges facing Abyan Governorate, praising the heroism of the Southern Armed Forces, who are fighting honorable battles against terrorist forces in Wadi Omran. He emphasized that the sacrifices of the martyrs and wounded mark a new era of steadfastness and resilience, calling on everyone to strengthen popular solidarity and rally around the political leadership to achieve the aspirations of the people of the South.
The ceremony included artistic performances that showcased the national epics of the October 14 revolutionaries and the sacrifices they made for the freedom and independence of the South. They affirmed their commitment to continuing the path of struggle until the aspirations of the Southern people are achieved.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan honored a number of activists in appreciation of their role in the struggle and their sincere patriotic stances in the Southern Revolution.
