The Southern Transitional Council welcomes the appointment of Mr. Hans Grundberg as the new Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Yemen.

The Transitional Council looks forward to working with the new UN envoy towards the success of the efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just peace process, that enables our southern people to achieve their national aspirations and goals and implement their legitimate will.
