The STC Foreign Representative in Russia holds discussions on the Houthi attacks

Dr. Mohammed Al-Afifi, representative of the Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Authority in the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Russia, on Monday, held a meeting with the official in charge of the Yemeni file in the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rafael Yenikiv.

The meeting discussed developments of the situation, its developments, the future of the political process, and ways to support a comprehensive peaceful solution to the conflict through the proposed road map.

The two parties discussed the repercussions of the attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden regions and their impact on freedom of maritime navigation and international trade movement.
