The STC Media Authority Holds its Routine Weekly Meeting, Headed by Al-Awlaqi

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held its routine weekly meeting on Monday, headed by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of the NSMA and official spokesman of the STC.

The meeting focused on the current political, military, security, and service developments in the South, as well as the role of sound media discourse in responding to these challenges and developments in the southern arena.

Similarly, the meeting highlighted the crucial role the various sectors of NSMA play under exceptional circumstances in fostering cohesiveness among the people of the South, encouraging their steadfast support for their just cause, and armed forces engaged in the battle against the Houthis, as well as in maintaining security, stability, and combating terrorism.

Furthermore, the media authority has called on all national institutions and voices to be vigilant against hostile and poisoned media discourse and disinformation that incites against security and stability and aims to disrupt the peace of society, urging them to objectively and professionally contribute to informing the public about developments, facts, and information.

At the end of its meeting, the authority touched upon a range of pressing media topics and issues raised and took corresponding measures.
