The Supreme Judicial Council Approves The Establishment Of A Specialized Criminal Prosecution In Shabwa Governorate

The Supreme Judicial Council held its periodic meeting, today, in the capital, Aden, headed by the President of the Council, Judge Mohsen Yahya Talib.

During the meeting, the Judicial Council approved a movement of transportation for a number of judges in the courts and offices in several governorates.

The media office in Shabwa Governorate monitored the most prominent of the council’s decisions regarding the governorate, in the forefront of which was the decision to establish a specialized elementary prosecution in Shabwa Governorate.

The Council also approved the appointment of Judge Mahmoud Zahir Mahmoud Mohamed as a judge in the Ataq Court of First Instance.

A number of the people of Shabwa Governorate expressed their satisfaction with the step of the Supreme Judicial Council regarding the establishment of a specialized criminal prosecution for the governorate, after years of suffering as a result of the association of its cases in the prosecution of Hadramout Governorate. They pointed out that this decision came within the framework of the efforts of the local authority headed by the Governor bin Al -Wazir, and a reflection of the stability that the province enjoys in various fields.
