The transition secretariat in its periodic meeting stands before the service war and the concerns of # Corona

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held, on Monday, its weekly meeting headed by the Assistant Secretary-General, Major General Salem Al- Sokatri.

 

The meeting reviewed the weekly reports of the activities of the General Secretariat departments and the executive bodies of the local leaderships of the Transitional Council in the governorates.

 

In the meeting, Major General Al- Sokatri stressed on the importance of the professional and national commitment that has always characterized the performance of the General Secretariat as a reliable executive body, stressing also on the need to intensify societal activities of the departments of the General Secretariat each according to its specialization with the quality required to reach the desired results that are in line with the policy of the Transitional Council and the aspirations of the people of the South.

 

The meeting stood before the war of services that the people of the south had been subjected to in the liberated areas, as well as the heroic steadfastness of the southern armed forces on the fronts of the fight against the Houthi militia, despite the shortage of weapons and ammunition, especially on the northern Dhali fronts, in addition to the fears of Corona virus, which has been declared as a global epidemic, and the precautions required to face it.

 

The meeting discussed the activities reports of the cultural and the youth and students departments for the months January and February 2020, as well as the economic report submitted by the economic department of the General Secretariat for the economic scene and its most important developments.

 

The meeting reviewed the directives issued to the General Secretariat from the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and the minutes of the previous meeting and was approved.
