The Transitional Council Executive in Aden the capital discusses preparations to celebrate 28th anniversary of declaration of disengagement

The Executive Body of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Aden the capital held its periodic meeting for the month of May 2022 in the capital, Aden, under the chairmanship of Mr. Essam Abdo Ali, acting Head of the Body.
The meeting discussed a number of important topics related to the work and activity of the body and the mechanism of distributing members of the local leadership in the capital and rearranging their positions in the executive departments according to specializations, qualifications and practical experience that would enhance the work of the leadership, develop it and implement national tasks that serve the people of the south and achieve their legitimate goals and aspirations.
The Executive Body also reviewed the latest preparations and ongoing preparations to commemorate the 28th anniversary of the declaration of disengagement, which is on May 21 of each year, the anniversary of the people of the south declaring their disengagement with the people of the north and the termination of the unity agreement signed between the People’s Democratic Republic of Yemen and the Yemen Arab Republic.
During the meeting, Mr. Essam stressed the importance of commemorating this anniversary, which constituted an important historical turning point in the struggle of the people of the south, calling on the executive body and all members of the local leadership to prepare and mobilize for this important and great occasion.
The meeting reviewed its previous minutes, which were enriched with some observations and recommendations, and it was approved.
