The Union of Arab Journalists receives a request for southern journalists and media members Syndicate to join its membership

The Secretary General of the Union of Arab Journalists, Khaled Al-Miri, on Sunday, received an official request from Dr. Ghazi Mohammed Al-Mas, envoy of the Syndicate of Southern Journalists and Media Members in the Arab Republic of Egypt, for the Syndicate to join the Union’s membership.
During the joint meeting in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, Al-Mas reviewed the role of the Southern Journalists and Media Members Syndicate, the outcomes of its founding conference, and the government permit to carry out its work issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.
Al-Mas stressed the need for the Southern Journalists Syndicate to participate in the events and activities organized by the Union to benefit from its expertise, especially professional courses in the field of journalism and media, looking forward to establishing cooperative relations between the Southern Journalists Syndicate and the General Federation of the Arab Journalists Union.
During the meeting, the Secretary General of the Arab Journalists Union promised to study the request at the next regular meeting of the Union.
