The Women’s Body of STC praises the establishment of the General Union of Women of the South

The Women’s Auxiliary Commission for the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Tuesday, held its regular meeting for the month of January, in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Suhair Ali Ahmed, Head of the Commission.
The Commission meeting praised the establishment of the General Union of Women of the South, describing it as the fruit of the efforts of women in the South, their ambition, and their struggle to support their issues and care for their rights, and an important step in keeping pace with political transformations.
The meeting affirmed the Commission’s support for national efforts that work to enhance the role of southern women in society and their participation in political life.
The Commission also discussed a number of topics on its meeting agenda related to improving the Commission’s work and overcoming the obstacles that encountered its work in the year 2023.
