Through “At Your Service” program, Lamlas launches hotline for consumer protection

Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Governor of the capital, Aden, on Wednesday, launched a hotline for consumer protection as part of the “Serving You” initiative.
During the launch of the service, Lamlas said that technology is the most important support for management, and helps institutions achieve positive results, explaining that it shortens time and contributes to enhancing communication between officials and citizens, and provides an opportunity for citizens to criticize and reveal negative phenomena.
He appreciated the moves of the Trade and Industry Office to protect the consumer from the greed of merchants, calling for his protection by reporting violators by preserving the confidentiality of information.
Officials of the Office of Industry and Commerce in the capital reviewed the role of the program (at your service), its working mechanisms, ways of dealing with communications, ensuring the confidentiality of information, and receiving, examining and analyzing complaints.
