Thwarting Brotherhood’s attempt to control Ataq

The forces of the Southern Giants thwarted and Shabwa defense attempts by Brotherhood forces that tried to control the city of Ataq, the capital of the governorate.
The Southern Giants Forces and Shabwa Defense Forces took control of various parts of Ataq city in Shabwa governorate, after the military movements of groups of special forces affiliated with the former Brotherhood in an attempt to destabilize security.
The Brotherhood militia tried to take control of the city through the Special Security Forces, but the southern forces dealt with the situation and sent large reinforcements to control almost completely the streets of Ataq.
The forces of the Southern Giants and Shabwa defense succeeded in controlling the rescue camp, the two electricity points and Dirham Street belonging to the rebel Special Forces militia, and advanced towards Al-Jalfuz.
