The Deputy Director of Security in the capital, Aden, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, met with a high-level delegation of the United Nations, on Sunday, to be briefed on the latest developments of the security situation in the capital, Aden.
Brigadier Jabr met with: Senior Security and Safety Adviser to the United Nations Senio Newton Kumla, Head of UN Operations in Yemen Daniel Lopez, Director of the United Nations Office in Aden, Im Sifull, Director of the United Nations Compound Aden Baz al-Dabbagh, Security Assistant to the United Nations Office Nasr al-Qutaibi.
Brigadier General Jabr delivered a full explanation of the latest developments of the security situation in Aden and the efforts of the security forces to secure people’s lives and combat extremist forces that seek to undermine the security and safety of the capital, Aden.
Brigadier-General Jabr and the international delegation visited a number of districts and areas of the capital, Aden, most notably Khor Maksar, Al-Mualla, Al-Tawahi, Goldmore, Al-Qulu’a, Al-Buraiqi, during which he introduced them directly to the nature of people’s lives in the city, the security situation and the details of people’s lives in the capital, Aden.
The UN delegation expressed its great thanks and appreciation to Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr for his assistance and cooperation in carrying out their work tasks and familiarizing them closely with the security situation in Aden, and the efforts of the security forces in facilitating the work of international organizations in the capital, Aden.
