Transitional Council Acting President discusses with bin Al Sheikh Abu Bakr situation in Hadramout

Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, the member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, met on Sunday, in his office in Aden the capital, with the Head of the Executive Authority of the Transitional Council’s Local Leadership in Hadramout Governorate, Dr. Mohammad Jaafar bin Sheikh Abu Bakr.
In the meeting, Al-Khobaji emphasized on the great place that Hadramout governorate enjoys in the hearts of all the people of the south, stressing that Hadramout Governorate is the cornerstone of the project to build an independent southern state, which will take into account its privacy, and the important strategic depth it represents.
Al-Khobaji praised the great contributions made by the people of Hadramout to the liberation march of the southern revolution since its launch in 1994, indicating that these contributions were and will remain a source of appreciation and pride for all the people of the south.
Al-Khobaji discussed with the executive head of Hadramout Transitional Council the latest developments in the governorate in general, and the valley districts in particular, as its sons suffer due to the escalating insecurity, the continuous and systematic targeting of the military and security cadres from the people of the governorate, as well as the attempts to change the demographic composition of the population by flooding it with displaced people from the governorates of the north, and giving them important joints and locations in the governorate.
Al-Khobaji also listened from Sheikh Abu Bakr to an integrated explanation of the work of the local leadership in Hadramout and its districts, and the activities it has implemented during the past period, and its future programs and plans.
Al-Khobaji called on the leadership of the Transitional Council in Hadramout to make more efforts and get closer to the conditions of citizens, and touch on their concerns, and devote activities and programs towards contributing to alleviating their suffering.
