Transitional Council local leadership Executive board of Aden the capital approves activities to celebrate National Independence Day
The executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital Aden, held its periodic meeting on Saturday, under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, member of the Transitional Council’s Presidency and Head of the local leadership of the Council in the capital.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Wali praised the success of the artistic and carnival activities that Aden the capital witnessed in celebration of the 57th anniversary of October 14 revolution anniversary, appreciating the great efforts made by the local leadership to implement the celebration programs.
The meeting discussed a number of important files and issues related to the citizens’ living, and the most prominent security, military and political developments in the capital Aden and the south in general.
The meeting also reviewed the proposals and perceptions for the activities to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of the National Independence Day, as it approved the implementation of a number of sporting activities in the districts of the capital, starting from next week, so that the celebrations will be concluded with a major event and participation of all districts in the capital.
The meeting also touched on a number of files and issues related to the functioning of the executive departments, and the relationship of joint cooperation with the local authority in the districts, in addition to the renewal of raising the southern national flag in institutions and public squares, and chanting the southern anthem in all public and private schools in the capital Aden.
