Transitional Council spokesman comments on shelling civilians in Abyan and Shabwa by terrorist militia of Brotherhood
The spokesperson for the Southern Transitional Council, Nizar Haytham, confirmed that the Brotherhood’s terrorist militia, under the cloak of legitimacy in Yemen, carry out war crimes by its targeting innocent civilians in the governorates of Abyan and Shabwa.
The Transitional Council spokesman said on Twitter: “The policy of indiscriminate shelling is an evidence of a military and political failure of the Brotherhood’s militia, and those shells that the Islah terrorist militia intentionally threw on populated areas in the capital of Abyan, Zanzibar and before it in Shabwah districts, confirms its involvement in war crimes and targeting the civilian victims, and causing damage to the innocents’ homes and property. ”
The terrorist Brotherhood militias supported by Qatar and Turkey targeted on Monday populated areas in Bajdar region of Zanzibar district in Abyan governorate, with Katyusha rockets, which caused damages to a number of citizens’ homes, and there is no official death toll so far.
