Transitional Council’s Corona Confrontation Committee holds emergency meeting to face pandemic second wave

The Corona Confrontation Committee of the Southern Transitional Council held on Tuesday, an emergency meeting chaired by Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, Chairman of the Health and Environment Committee of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Committee.
The meeting discussed the latest updates related to the Coronavirus (Covid-19), and the level of preparation and readiness for facing the second wave of the pandemic.
The meeting reviewed the committee’s work program for the next stage in accordance with the comprehensive plan that was agreed upon in cooperation and coordination with the High Committee for Relief and Humanitarian Action in the Transitional Council headed by Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, member of the Presidency, the head of the committee.
The meeting approved a number of important proposals and recommendations related to precautionary and preventive measures and intensifying coordination, communication process with the relevant authorities to form a unified front to confront this deadly virus.
