Two major agreements are signed between Yemeni Standardization Organization and the Gulf Standardization Organization

Two major agreements were signed in the capital, Aden, between the Yemeni Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Organization and the Gulf Cooperation Council Standardization Organization, in the presence of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal.

The two agreements were signed by the Yemeni Standardization Organization, its general director, Eng. Hadid Almas, and by the Gulf Standardization Organization, its president, Saud Al-Khasibi, as part of the Gulf’s keenness to support the member states of the Gulf Standardization Organization and to enhance regional cooperation in the field of standardization, in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development goals.

The two agreements aim to enhance cooperation in the fields of standardization and energy efficiency, in a way that serves the interests of the member states of the authority, which contributes to achieving positive effects on the level of enhancing energy efficiency in Yemen, enhancing the technical and cognitive capabilities of the Yemeni Standardization Organization, and supporting the local industry and the national economy.
