UAE funds 21 projects in the agricultural and Irrigation sectors in Shabwa

The Governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Wazir, expressed appreciation for the support of the United Arab Emirates and its keenness to enhance the service aspects in the governorate, and to serve citizens in various fields.
In a meeting with officials of the Agriculture and Irrigation Office in Shabwa, he reviewed the office’s work activities, level of performance, the most prominent challenges it faces, and its most prominent needs.
Bin Al-Wazir got briefed on the work progress of projects to support the agricultural and water sector, with a total of 21 projects funded by the UAE under the agreement signed with the local authority in the governorate.
The Governor of Shabwa directed, in coordination with the various agencies, to speed up the completion of works, of course, according to the technical specifications, and the financing program for the completion of these projects, stressing the benefit from the UAE support for the sector to serve farmers.
