UAE Red Crescent Opens Vital Water Projects in Shabwa

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Shabwa – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]U[/su_dropcap]AE Red Crescent Opened two vital water projects in Shabwa on June 30th, 2019. One project is an integrated solar-powered water pubbing station in Al-Dima and Al-Ghagla in Lower Markha – Shabwa.
Hameed Al-Shamesi, consultant of international cooperation and development, representative of UAE Red Crescent in Shabwa indicated that the launch of these vital projects is a clear evidence of the care provided by UAE leadership to improving humanitarian conditions in Yemen in general in addition to decreasing human suffering through supporting infrastructure projects.
He added that the UAE Red Crescent is trying to overcome the problem of water shortage in Shabwa. He asserted that this problem is very prevalent in desert areas and this led the organization to support water projects for drinking and irrigation in these areas.
Eng. Marwan Ba Rwais, deputy director of countryside water department in Shabwa, expressed deep appreciation for UAE efforts in supporting infrastructure projects and services and humanitarian aids in Shabwa. He also appreciated the efforts of UAE Red Crescent in this respect to decrease human suffering in liberated territories.
Citizens benefiting from the projects expressed their appreciation of UAE government and UAE Red Crescent for their efforts in vital services projects that work on decreasing their human suffering.
