UAE supports Aden Water Corporation with electrical transformers

The local water corporation in the capital, Aden, on Saturday, received electrical transformers with a capacity of 200 kilovolts provided by the United Arab Emirates.
The transformers come within a package of projects presented by the UAE to support the water sector, to contribute to the installation of transformers in connecting Bir Ahmed water field through the public electricity network.
It is expected that the transformers will reduce the need to use emergency generators, as they drain the company’s resources to provide diesel fuel and oils by hundreds of millions.
The United Arab Emirates continues its support for infrastructure throughout the south, as it provided a few days ago a solar power plant with a capacity of 120 megawatts.
