Under the directives of the Minister of State and Governor of Aden Governorate, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the Land Protection Unit provided heavy security protection to the Obstacles Department to remove a random building in the Dar Saad District of Aden.
The Obstacles Department in Dar Saad District removed a random building on Tuesday that resulted in the closure of the entrance to Al-Arbaeen Street in the Jaoula area.
This removal comes in accordance with the directives of the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, to reopen Al-Arbaeen Street to protect the public interest.
The removal is considered the first phase of the upcoming removal of any illegal random building that has encroached or is encroaching on Al-Arbaeen Street during previous construction and encroachment operations.
Lieutenant Colonel Kamal Al-Halimi, Commander of the Land Protection Unit, emphasized that encroachment on the streets is something everyone rejects and should not be tolerated.
