Under patronage of President Al-Zoubaidi .. Lahj celebrates 54th anniversary of national independence day with artistic ceremony

The Union of Artists of the South in Lahj governorate, on Sunday, organized an artistic and rhetorical concert on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the National Independence Day of 30th November, under the generous patronage of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council.
Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, delivered a speech at the ceremony, which was attended by Brigadier General Mukhtar Al-Nubi, Commander of Abyan axis, in which he conveyed the congratulations of the political leadership of the Council headed by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President Council, to the people of Lahj governorate, and all the southern people on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the glorious National Independence Day 30th of November, reviewing a number of implications that the anniversary of the national independence of the people of the south made and the sacrifices and immortal heroic epics that culminated in the achievement of complete independence on 30 November 1967.
Al-Jaadi stressed that the march of the second independence revolution is proceeding towards achieving its desired goal, calling on everyone to have more cohesion, steadfastness and commitment in the face of the policy of starvation and the war of services waged by the enemies of the south, who did not and will not succeed in bringing our steadfast southern people to their knees, praising the political moves made by the southern political leadership headed by the President Al-Zubaidi, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, stressing that its results will be promising on more than one level.
The head of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Lahj, Lawyer Ramzi Al-Shuaibi, delivered also a speech during the ceremony, in which he praised the Union of Southern Artists in Lahj governorate, as well as the artistic and cultural elites that took the lead in declaring the founding entity of the Union of Southern Artists in the governorate, noting that the 54th anniversary of the National Independence Day is fragrant, and coincides with the movements of the political leadership in the Transitional Council to impose the will of the people of the south to restore their state, deriving its strength from the cohesion of the southerners by defending their homeland.
The ceremony was opened with a recitation of the Holy Quran and then the southern national anthem, and a speech was delivered by the Union of Southern Artists delivered by Mr. Adnan Al-Khawaja, Vice President of the Southern Artists Union in Lahj Governorate, during which he reviewed the efforts made by the Artists Union in the governorate to hold this ceremony, praising the role of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Lahj governorate to make this event a success.
A number of artistic shows were presented at the ceremony, including poetic poems, heritage dances, theatrical performances, national songs, and was concluded by honoring a number of artists of Lahj governorate.
