Within the general program to rehabilitate and training the southern armed forces towards building a military institution qualified to defend the south on the western borders of Tur al-Baha in Al-Sabiha
The Command of the Eighth Border Guards Brigade inaugurated the first training course for the new personnel of the Eighth Brigade
Major General Colonel Muhammad Ahmad Al-Shitaa reported that the Eighth Brigade are a borders guards, and with the self-efforts of the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Yasser Al-Sumali, we launched the first training course for the brigade’s affiliates, borders guards towards building and rehabilitating the brigade’s forces militarily to be capable of protecting the borders adjacent to Al-Maqtirah district in Taiz.
The Eighth Brigade is a border guard led by Brigadier General Yasser al-Somali, one of the brigades of the southern armed forces that was recently approved by President Aidarous al-Zubaidi, commander-in-chief of the southern armed forces to protect the borders from Brotherhood militias in Taiz and strengthen the southern armed forces in Tur al-Baha front Haifan.
Since its adoption and its deployment in the theater of its operations on the borders of Tur al-Baha with al-Maqatira, the brigade has managed to extend and secure many strategic sites that protect the borders of the district.
