Under patronage of President Al-Zubaidi.. The General Secretariat inaugurates third Aden Sports Festival

The Youths and Students Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council inaugurated on Sunday, the third Aden Sports Festival, in the hall of the deceased Ali Asaad Muthanna in Sheikh Othman district of the capital, Aden, under the patronage of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, and in the presence of members of the Presidency of the Council, Mr. Fadel Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General, Advocate Niran Sooki, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, and Eng. Nizar Haitham.

At the beginning of the inauguration, which was attended by Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, Advisor to the President of the Transitional Council for sport and youths, Head of the Youths and Students Department, Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi delivered a speech welcoming the attendees, conveying to them the greetings of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council.

The Deputy Secretary-General praised the role of southern youths during the various stages of the southern revolution, as well as the voluntary work of initiatives and devotion of the spirit of teamwork, and their contribution to the formation of awareness among southern youths.

Al-Jaadi stressed by saying, “We count a lot on the youths of the south at this stage in which the country is going through important turning points and many challenges at all levels, which will push the southerners to achieve their hopes and aspirations in restoring their southern state and enabling them to administer it.”

The opening of the sports festival, which will last for fifteen days, witnessed the presentation of the teams of the clubs participating in various games, as well as the presentation of a number of artistic sections of it.
