Under patronage of President Al-Zubaidi.. Transitional Council commemorates centenary of late Amin Saleh

The Southern Transitional Council commemorated, on Tuesday, under the generous patronage of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the centenary of the late Amin Saleh Mohammad, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and the pioneer of the southern struggle.
The event was attended by members of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Head of the Negotiations Unit, Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, official spokesman of the Council, Head of the National Southern Media Authority, Attorney Niran Sooki, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, Eng. Nizar Haitham, Head of Transitional Council Executive in the Capital Aden, and Brigadier General Nasser Al-Saadi, in addition to military and security leaders, and family, companions and fans of the deceased, Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council, delivered a speech at the beginning of which he conveyed the greetings of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Council to the family of the deceased Amin Saleh, his family, companions, lovers, and his deepest condolences for the death of an important national figure who history will mention in its brightest pages.
Al-Jaadi enumerated about the roles of the late Amin Saleh and his companions in the establishment of the popular committees, which expressed through their struggles the rejection of the practices of the war gangs in 1994, and lead the peaceful action in the squares and fields, and was extended to the entire political map of the south with a revolutionary momentum that has no counterpart, and caused shock to the authority that was powered by religion, tribe and military.
Al-Jaadi pointed out that despite the grief of what the south lost with the departure of the late Amin Saleh, his spirit is a guideline towards restoring the independent southern state, which has revealed its signs by imposing the cause of the people of the south in all international decision-making forums.
Lutfi Shatara, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and Head of the Preparatory Committee for the event, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, speaking about the efforts made by the Committee to prepare for this event, including the preparation of two books on the life of the deceased Amin Saleh and his struggle role, in addition to the preparation of a documentary film about his life, noting that the deceased Amin Saleh had exceptional qualities distinguished him from others.
Mustafa, son of the late, Amin Saleh, delivered the family’s speech in which he enumerated the virtues of his father, and said: “You and we mourn today a fighter from among you who grew up with the poor and the oppressed, refined by experiences and struggled with life in the midst of struggle”, pointing out that
He pointed out that the attention and care of the President of the council, President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, provided the best example of the value of loyalty and the companionship of struggle, in which Mustafa expressed thanks to President Al-Zubaidi and all those who contributed and participated in the work of making this centenary event a success for the late Amin Saleh.
The event included the presentation of a number of poems about the deceased and his attributes, as the leaders of the Transitional Council and a number of military and security commanders honored the family of the late Amin Saleh.
In the centenary of the memorial service, a book was distributed about the deceased, entitled “The Painful Departure”, and a documentary film was shown about his life and some of the most important distinguished stations in his struggle.
