Undersecretary of Ministry of Health… inspects isolation center at Al-Sadaqa Hospital and meets with hospital administration

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, accompanied by the Director General of Al-Sadaqa Hospital, Dr. Raja Massad, on Sunday, in the capital, Aden, inspected the isolation center at Al-Sadaqa Hospital.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Shabhi checked on the condition of the patients, especially those infected with the cholera epidemic, which many of whom recovered and left the hospital safely.
Dr. Al-Shabhi praised the role of the medical teams and the administration of Al-Sadaqa Teaching Hospital in paying attention to and taking care of the patients’ health, stressing the importance of constant preparedness and solidarity among all parties to pay attention and raise awareness of general hygiene in markets, restaurants, breathing rooms and homes, and also inspect the sewage and water networks in addition to personal hygiene by washing hands and food, which are of the most important things.
Al-Shabhi urged all international organizations, local institutions, and businessmen to continue the support in the health field, because health and environment are among the most important priorities of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, in which he called for paying attention from everyone to the health sector because the citizens’ health is the true standard for any country in the world.
