UNICEF delegation inspects level of services at Al-Sadaqa Hospital in Aden the capital

A delegation from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), on Wednesday, visited Al-Sadaqa General Educational Hospital in the capital, Aden, to check on the progress of work and medical and technical projects to it by the British donors.
The delegation inspected the quality of health services provided to patients in the departments supported by the grants of the United Nations, to assess the extent to which the support provided in the field of health services is used to save the lives of mothers and newborns.
The delegation was briefed on the nature of projects and equipment to improve medical services provided to patients, and the reflection of aid on the development of health care.
The delegation of the UNICEF toured the neonatal, premature and malnutrition departments, in addition to the obstetric emergency departments, surgeries, women’s resuscitation, and drug stores.
The UNICEF delegation expressed its admiration for the efforts of Al-Sadaqa Hospital, its management and medical staff in assisting low-income patients in the capital, Aden.
