Vice-Chairman of Foreign Affairs Department Meets the French Ambassador to Yemen
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]M[/su_dropcap]ohamed Al-Ghaithi, vice-chairman of foreign affairs department of the southern transitional council, met Mr. Christian Tisto, the French ambassador to Yemen, on Wednesday May 15th 2019.
The meeting discussed current political and military developments in the south, especially the military situation on the borderlines with the north in Al-Dalia and Lahj, due to Al-Houthis’ aggression. In addition, the meeting discussed the political process under UN sponsorship, that aims to stop war and bring inclusive political resolution.
Al-Ghaithi asserted the council’s commitment with UN peace process indicating that southern participation will push this process to success especially as exclusion of the south is against current and historic facts. He added that recent experience peace process represent a clear evidence on that.
