Vice-Chairman of National Southern Media Authority inaugurates office of Aden Independent Channel in Mukalla

The Vice-Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority, General Director of Aden Independent TV Channel (AIC), Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, and Ali Saleh Al-Hamimy, Deputy Head of the Southern Transitional Council Executive of the Local Leadership in Hadhramout governorate, inaugurated on Sunday, an office for Aden Independent Channel in the city of Mukalla.
In a statement, Al-Yafei pointed out that the opening of the office in the city of Mukalla is the first project of (AIC) TV at the level of the governorates of the South, and it will be followed by the opening of offices in a number of regions and governorates.
Al-Yafei stressed that the office will contribute to revitalizing the media work in the governorate, and will facilitate the channel’s tasks in producing more diverse programs about Hadhramout, its arts and culture, and its current issues and problems.
Al-Yafei expressed his thanks and appreciation to President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, for his interest in the channel and his keenness to upgrade its media services, for the benefit of all the governorates and regions of the South, noting that President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of Hadhramout being the first target for the expansion projects of AIC.
Al-Hamimy expressed his happiness with the opening of an office for the channel in the city of Mukalla, expressing his thanks to President Al-Zubaidi for his interest in Hadhramout, and provided it with priority in various fields, praising the efforts of the administration of AIC and its continuous quest to achieve more success and development.
The inauguration of the office of AIC was attended by a number of members of the National Assembly, and the executive body of the local leadership of the Council in Hadhramout, and a number of media figures.
