Vice Chairman of National Southern Media Authority visits Culture Office in Aden the capital

The Vice Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority, Head of the Radio and Television Sector, Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, visited on Sunday, the Culture Office in the capital, Aden, and was received by the Director-General of the office, Ms. Randa Akbour.
During the visit, Al Yafei got briefed on the office’s work progress and the organization of mass festive events on the occasion of the National Independence Day, November 30.
Al-Yafei discussed with the Director of the Culture Office, coordinating relations between the Culture Office and the Information Office in the capital, Aden, unifying the efforts of media and cultural institutions in the capital, raising the level of coordination between them and working priorities during the next stage.
During the visit, Al-Yafei praised Akbour’s role in promoting the cultural sector, which has been greatly affected over the past years.
In turn, Director-General of the Culture Office Randa Akbour praised the support of the National Southern Media Authority for the Culture Office and the efforts of the authority that seeks to organize work by issuing official permits to active media institutions, stressing that it is taking the same step to prevent the establishment of any cultural events without prior coordination with the office.
