Vice President of STC, member of LPC inspects a number of road projects in Mukalla

Major General Faraj Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), member of the Presidential Leadership Council (LPC), along with Governor of Hadhramaut, Mabkhout bin Madi, on Sunday, launched the expansion project of Al-Mukalla Main Street.
Al-Bahsani inspected the project site, which starts from the Sultan Al-Quaiti Palace, all the way to the old port of Mukalla. It is 1,900 meters long and 26 meters wide, and includes a 30-meter-wide breakwater, to reduce traffic congestion in the main streets.
He ordered the leadership of the local authority in Hadhramaut to remove any obstacles and buildings that hinder the project, to ensure the opening of an expanded track line, and to complete the work on the project on time and according to the approved technical specifications.
He reviewed the progress of the ongoing work in the project of constructing and asphalting the central ring road from Al-Ghawizi to the central prison, and the 4,400-metre route, which consists of two culverts, 47 meters long and 37 meters long, and 3.5 meters high, for a number of two culverts in order to facilitate liquidation in the future.
Al-Bahsani said that the vital ring line project in the city of Mukalla reduces traffic congestion and facilitates the passage of transport vehicles without entering the city, expressing the readiness of the Presidential Leadership Council to provide the necessary support for strategic projects in the road and bridge sector.
