Weapons shipment seized before being smuggled to the capital, Aden

Yafa’a Combat Axis Forces thwarted, on Thursday, an attempt to smuggle a shipment of military supplies and various weapons coming from Yemen.

Members of the Jabal Al-Arr checkpoint in the Al-Had border directorate in Lahj Governorate seized a military shipment that included silencer pistols, various ammunition, Kalashnikov weapons stores, and military clothing, before smuggling it to the capital, Aden, coming from Sana’a, Yemen.

Sources revealed that the Yafa’a Axis Forces seized the seized items, indicating that the shipment may be intended to supply terrorist activities and destabilize security in the capital, Aden.
