With a public ceremony…STC in Shabwa commemorates 18th anniversary of reconciliation and tolerance

The local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Shabwa Governorate commemorated the 18th anniversary of the Southern Reconciliation and Tolerance Day with a speech and artistic ceremony at the poet Yaslam bin Ali Cultural Center in the city of Ataq, under the patronage of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, under the slogan “the South with all its children and for all its sons”.

Abdulaziz Mahdi bin Laksar, head of the local leadership of the STC in the governorate, appreciated the southern insistence on adhering to reconciliation and tolerance as a great achievement, stressing the continuation of the approach of strengthening national cohesion and ending the era of conflict.

He said that the southern people have turned the page on the painful past and buried it forever, pointing out that the south has suffered greatly from wars and the policy of collective punishment and hostility, and is taking lessons from the lessons of the past to build a homeland that accommodates all southerners, under the shadow of coexistence and acceptance of opinions and other opinions and rejecting all expressions of fanaticism, violence, chaos, rivalry and fighting. .

The ceremony witnessed a number of artistic and cultural events, in the presence of security and military leaders, the executive bodies of the Council in the directorates, government officials, and national and community figures.
