With Backup of Arab Coalition Air Forces, Security Belt Imposes Full Control Over Al-Qaeda Camp in Modia – Abian
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Modia – Abian – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] With backup of Arab Coalition air forces, SWAT Teams of the security belt imposed full control over a camp of Al-Qaeda in Modia – Abian on Wednesday 19th, September 2018. Brigadier Abd Al-Latif Al-Sayed, commander of Security Belt Troops in Abian, confirmed that troops controlled the camp located in Wadi Omera, on the parameter of Modia as this camp is considered one of the major posts of Al-Qaeda. He said: “Troops controlled the camp after three days of clashes and siege as several terrorists were killed while others were injured and the rest escaped towards Shabwa. Troops also managed to dismantle several explosives in addition to detonating a car bomb in the middle of the camp”. He indicated that no military force succeeded in penetrating this camp before because of its strategic location while security belt troops succeeded in this. This major achievement is part of the major military operation “Um Al-Maarek” conducted by the security belt troops with backup of Arab coalition to expel Al-Qaeda terrorists out of Abian.
