With Sooki and Al-Shaiba and number of southern leaders .. Major General Ben Brik inspects quarantine centers in Borika
Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, paid on Thursday, an inspection visit to the two quarantine centers of Al-Amal hospital and al-Committee hall in Al-Borika district, accompanied by vice-chairman of the national assembly, lawyer Niran Sooki, and Brigadier Ali Al-Shaiba, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council.
On their arrival, Major General Ben Brik and his companions were received by Dr. Salem Al-Shabahhi, Chairman of the Corona Virus Control Committee in the Transitional Council, and Dr. Zakaria Al-Qaiti, Director of the Main Center for Epidemic Isolation ..
Major General Ben Brik praised the self-efforts of the doctors in the Transitional Council, the National Assembly, and Aden the capital, to confront this dangerous pandemic that is killing the world and all developed countries, praising the Ministry of Health for its response to the leadership of the Transitional Council to counter this deadly pandemic of the Corona virus, through supporting the work at this health center to sort and isolate the affected in this critical situation.
The Chairman of the National Assembly also called on the legitimate government to carry out its duties entrusted to the southern people, calling on international organizations to provide support to complete the remaining preparation of the quarantine building.
Major General Ben Brik pointed out that this visit came to raise morale and push workers in this field in order to develop the health and preventive aspects to confront the epidemic of the spread of Corona virus pandemic, stressing by saying: “We in the Transitional Council will support, as much as possible, the process of preparing and treating patients”.
For his part, Dr. Zakaria Al-Qaiti, Director of the Main Center for Epidemiological Isolation, expressed his appreciation for the visit of Major General Bin Brik, and his kind gesture to touch on the needs and requirements of the quarry, in which it indicates the concern and interest of the Transitional Council leadership and its follow-up of all matters related to the life and health of citizens in the capital Aden in particular and in the whole South in general.
Dr. Al-Qaiti presented to Major General Ben Brik a brief and quick summary of the equipment in the center and the number of the total medical and nursing staff working in it, indicating that the isolation center is equipped to receive difficult cases after they are examined and sorted in the patient sorting building.
Al-Qaiti noted that, despite this, the center still needs some requirements and necessities for equipping, stressing that despite the scarcity of capabilities, the teams work around the clock and with self-efforts to equip and provide what can be prepared so that we can do our duty towards any situation that may appear, while the legitimate government failed to fulfill its duty and turned a blind eye to the needs of the people in general and the center in particular, wishing the citizens to take more care and caution and adhere to the preventive instructions and directions that were announced to avoid getting sick.
