With Support of Minister of Culture, Al-comendan Library at Lahj Restores its Building

[su_label type=”info”]SAMA News – Anwar Al-Abdaly – Lahj[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] With support of Marwan Damag, Minister of Culture and exhausting efforts of Riad Abd Al-Galil, general director of the General Organizations of Book – branch of Lahj, and in presence of a representative of criminal investigations, the building of Al-Comendan library was restored after paying the rent of an apartment for a family that resides in the building since 2015 war. According to the minister’s directives and in presence of Waleed Mahdy, general director of Adan Heritage Fund, the rent was delivered for Hesham Al-Khediwy. The library was temporarily moved a year ago to a classroom at the Health Institute – Department of Health and population which is considered as the headquarters of the governorate as librarians were not able to get in in addition to their fears that the books might be lost.
