With support of Zayed Foundation .. #Transitional Council distributes 21 electric wheelchairs to wounded in #Lahj
The Martyrs and Injured Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council distributed 21 electric wheelchairs on Thursday, to the wounded in Lahj governorate, with the support of Sheikh Zayed Charity Foundation.
The head of the Martyrs and Injured Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Osama Mohsen Ben Brik, said that the distribution of electric wheelchairs in Lahj governorate comes within the first batch provided to the wounded in the southern governorates, that is estimated of 100 chairs.
Ben Brik added that this generous gesture from Zayed Foundation comes in the context of the continued efforts of the United Arab Emirates to support the southern governorates in various aspects and trends since 2016.
The distribution event started with the speech of the head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Lahj, Ramzi Al-Shuaibi, in which he thanked Sheikh Zayed Foundation for their humanitarian activities, stressing that this support is the least that can be provided to the wounded.
