Woman and her child are killed in bombing of Houthi south of Yemeni governorate of Taiz
A pregnant woman and her child were killed by shelling of Houthi militia on civilian homes in Haifan district of southern Taiz, Yemen.
Witnesses said that the Houthi militia launched a violent artillery attack on the village of al-Hijmah in the Al-Aabous in Haifan district of Taiz, and that a mortar shell landed on the home of Wasim Saeed Abed and killed his wife, Ahlam Ahmed, 29 years, who was pregnant, and her child Asim Waseem, 7 years, and injured her children; Hamas Wasim 13 years, Nabil Wassim 10 years, Lamis Wassim 8 years old, Abed Wassim 4 years old, in which the injured were taken to a hospital in the southern capital, Aden, for treatment.
It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia repeatedly bombed civilian homes in case it has not any progress, as a child was seriously wounded by a mortar shell about 3 months ago in the same location as today’s incident.
